If you need a more advanced Cad-program I can suggest BricsCad. It is based on the Intellicad-code, which used to be Opensource. They have a 30days trial version, where all commands are accessible. They have a stable version for Linux. The program cost 315-450$, and for me as a professional a good alternative to AutoCad above 3000$ prices (for the light version...).

I am changing from AutoCad to BricsCad, but check out the trial at www.bricscad.com, if you need a more advanced testing tool (for a month).

ps. Opened the *.py file in a text editor, as far as I can see I will stay as a tester for a while, a let guys like you take care of the programming :-)
