uniconv-ext.py is something I wrote to replace a shell script that didn't work on Windows. That specific problem (a shell script) doesn't exist in the case of EPS import, and I don't know why EPS import is crashing on Windows. A Python script could no doubt solve this too, but there might be a better way.
