Thanks for your answer. In my opinion it would be useful to be able to
adjust
an those image features directly in inkscape, if not, there should at
least be a
way to embed an image linked to a file, so that changing the original
image
file also changes the embedded image in inkscape (or does this feature
alread
exist?).
