@Krzysztof - I don't understand why to remove 'win32'? This issue has not longer been reproduced on linux and osx, only on win32 platforms. The more generic request to implement linking SVG sources via the <image> element is bug #171544, the issue with rasterized rendering of linked SVG sources is bug #171795 - both apply to all supported platforms, whereas the failure to find the linked SVG source (bug #168244) is reported unsolved on windows platforms only.
