A key to show/hide all stickynotes

Asked by Ibai Oihanguren Sala

Hello,
I don't know if this should go in a bug, because it is more a feature request than a question, but... I think it would be great if you would add a key to Show all notes and another to Hide all notes. This way, the user can see all the notes he/she has without leaving the keyboard, and then hide them in a quick way.
With this change this indicator would be the best sticky notes manager on Ubuntu.

Thank you!

Hi,

Thanks for your interest. I like your idea. However, I have no time to work on it. For now, if you want a quick way to show/hide notes, you can either middle click the indicator or use Ubuntu's heads-up-display by tapping Alt, waiting for HUD to appear, and then typing "Show All" or "Hide All".

I hope this helps,

Umang

Hello.
I like this idea, especially all notes are hidden when "show desktop" button is clicked. So the Sticky note is no more sticky !!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it would a very useful feature to:

1- add a option to NOT hide the stcky notes when the "ShowDesktop" button is clicked.

2- add a keybinding to show all/hide all stiky notes.

I use StickyNotes to keep organized when I write my reports , and because this feature is not implented in most Sticky notes application (xpad, knote, rhinote, tomboy ..... ) I prefer screenlets.

I'm not a programer or i do it myself.

Can you help with this problem?
