Hidden Behind Panel

Asked by Amal Afroz Alam

Every time I add a new sticky note, the top part becomes hidden behind the panel and I can't move it nor can I close the note.

I would also like to use this in conjunction with the Compiz Widget Layer, but with or without it I run into the problem of not being able to see the top. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi Amal,

You can drag the stickynote by clicking and holding the bottom part of the note (anywhere to the left of the fold). The notes hiding behind the panel is a problem I've noticed too and will move the default position of the note further away from the top right corner.

Thanks,

Umang

Thank you. Also, is it possible to create a shortcut to hide them or show them all at once? I'm not asking for you to code something, wouldn't do that. But is there like a command we can implement ourselves?

When you say shortcut, do you mean keyboard shortcut? You can either middle-click the indicator on the indicator panel or you could click the indicator and click "Show All" (or "Hide All").

On Ubuntu, you also have the option of hitting Alt, to get the Ubuntu HUD to pop-up. Then type "Show All" (when you see "Sticky Notes > Show All", hit enter).

Yeah something like that, I sorta meant is there a way to do a key combination to do it. Like is there a command that we can use to set up a specific key combo of our own.
