Is there a manual to understand the indicators?

Asked by Visterine

hello, good morning.

Excuse me English but I am using a translator.

I wonder what the different indicators mean: temp1, temp2 and TEMP3.

One of his attention,

Delio.

Hi Delio - the temperatures are provided by lm-sensors and correspond to the different sensors on your motherboard - for more info have a look here - http://lm-sensors.org/wiki/FAQ/Chapter2 - in particular you will need an appropriate /etc/sensors.conf file for your motherboard to translate the tempX into their corresponding names - OR you can manually label each sensor in indicator-sensors preferences.

Also - unfortunately each motherboard is different so you'll need a specific sensors.conf for your particular computer's motherboard.
