What is the output of running 'sensors' from the command line? If there are no sensors detected from that then indicator-sensors will not be able to detect any.

Here is the output of sensors http://pastebin.com/GT4u3L1z
I think its ok...

Hmm okay, can you try uninstalling it, then recompiling it with the prefix option specified:

sudo make uninstall
make clean
./configure --prefix=/usr
make
sudo make install

And see if that is any better - if not can you please post the output when running indicator-sensors from the command-line?
