New feature: launch third-party when you click in one of the menu items

Hi.

I'm new in this forum and I would like to propose an improvement: It would be great if it is possible to implement this feature: when you click on the menu items that shows you the CPU load, for example, it would launch another application like the CPU monitor. Right now, clicking does nothing. I know you can customize that in preferences but it would be great if its possible to configure the third-party application being launched when you click on the menu item!
