indicator-bluetooth using way too much cpu/memory

Asked by HaydenR

Hi,

I have this issue with indicator-bluetooth running on my machine. I am have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Unity desktop on a Toshiba Portege Z30a netbook. Everyday on multiple occasions the indicator-bluetooth will suddenly use up >70% of my memory and CPU, even though I am not using the bluetooth and have it disabled (through the system settings). I am not using the Bluetooth and using deleting indicator-bluetooth through sudo apt-get or the synaptics package manager will remove the ubuntu-system-settings and unity-control-centre. Please how do I remove it without corrupting my machine?

Regards,
Hayden
