How do I put my applet icons back onto the top panel?

Asked by augdawg09

I accidentally removed my volume, network connections, and Empathy-Evolution applets from the top panel of the Ubuntu 9.10 desktop. How do I put them back on the panel?

I figured it out. In order to put the applets back up into the top panel, you need to right click the top panel and click add to panel. From the menu that appears, click Indicator Applet and then click add, and then to add the other part you find the Notification Area Applet and the click add. Those icons should appear back up on the top panel.
