How do I use Broadcast Accounts?

I have ubuntu 10.04 and I am trying to use the Broadcast Accounts option.

I clicked on broadcast accounts in the menu and chose to add an account from Facebook.

So I clicked the Authorize button on this window and it brought me to the Gwibber application which I authorized. Now in the space below where it says "authorize with facebook" it says "facebook authorized".

However there is a listbox on the side of the window which should show a list of authorized services, but it doesn't show anything and it doesn't show the facebook Gwibber application which I just authorized.

If I click the "close" button to close the window, and then quickly navigate back to the Broadcast Accounts window, it won't show any evidence on that screen that I ever authorized the Gwibber facebook app. and there is still nothing in the listbox to show that I ever authorized it.

Furthermore, I don't know how to use this application in order to test it.

I had hoped that if I had successfully authorized the application, a new option would appear in the menu that would allow me to use broadcast accounts.

I have already successfully created a chat account through facebook and sent and received messages.
