Is there a way of subscribing to new questions (and answers)?

It would be convenient to receive new questions and answers by mail
instead of manually checking the answers page. Have I missed an
option somewhere?

I just created a launchpad team called "ikarus-contacts" that's open for anybody to join. If you join that team, you should (I think) receive notifications whenever a question/answer is added, a bug is reported, or a new revision to the code is committed.
