Positions are added as open positions and then filled when an employee is assigned to the position. The link is Administer Positions --> Add, Update or Discontinue Positions. Notice that when Open is displayed in the top dropdown menu, all of the currently open positions are available for selection and editing from the second dropdown menu. A report of open positions can be produced; the predefined report is called the Open Positions List.
