Does the system catch duplicate records, such as for people with the same name?

The system does not catch duplicates and alert the data entrant that the person is already in the system when the same name is entered (iHRIS Manage and Qualify). -- Asked in Uganda

This feature is built in. It is designed to alert the user when there is a record with the same name. An alert message appears above the name when the duplicate record is saved. The user can review the previously entered record by clicking the link and then either modify it or go ahead and save the new record, as there may be legitimate cases where two people have the same name.
