Multiple desktop multiple backgrounds?

Most linux distro have the ability to use different backgrounds or wallpapers on each screen, is anyone working on ubuntu to make this happen?

Please take some time to search Launchpad for a bug report that matches your needs. If you are sure one does not exist you might report a new bug to the correct project.
