Align Creates Control point with picture that has no relation

Asked by mrcoco29

When I add the images that I want to use on my project, it creates control points with picture that are completely unrelated. For example, with 20 pictures, I want to create a 360 panorama, but, when I click on align, I can see on the screen when Is creating control point that it try to find control points with picture 1 and 10, but there's nothing in these two pictures that are related to one another, but it randomly takes one point from those pictures, making the results a wavy panorama. When I go to the Layout tab, there's red line everywhere, connecting in a really bad way to others picture.

Is there any way to specify on Hugin to only compare linearly? For example, to just go from 1 to 2, then 2 to 3, so on, until reaching the last picture? To then compare last picture with the first one and that it?

Sorry for bad English, not my main language.

Cpfind has an option --linear which compares only adjacent images (but not the first and last).
So you can create a new control point detector setting with the --linear switch and make it the default.

But the default setting with --multirow strategy is more flexible for most cases and there the default.
