Visibility limited to lower-left quadrant

Asked by Vin

I've been a long-time user of Hugin, which generally works great.
Lately, I have noticed that the zone of visibility is restricted to the lower-left quadrant of the Hugin window (i.e. just the lower left quarter of the image is visible and all the rest is just grey).

Even when moving the cursors in the bottom and right edges, all this does is reframe the image *within* this lower-left quadrant.

Is there a way to solve this?
I can still stitch panoramas like this, but it's not pleasant to be limited to this partial view of the result.

Thank you!

Ok, so based on that thread, a blind fix was made, which if I understand correctly, consisted of a correction in the software and therefore a new Hugin version?
The thing is, I have just downloaded the very last version (i have a Macbook Pro 16’’ 2019), so presumably it must have included the fix. However the problem is unchanged.
(I should also indicate that Hugin has until now worked just fine on this computer, so it’s not a matter of a new computer issue)

There is no official Mac version with this fix. Currently there is only the version linked in the mentioned thread above - which fixes the issue for Mac OS with a HiDPI display. So you need this version…

OK, now it works! What is strange is that I have been using Hugin on this very same computer for more than a year and the issue just happened recently!...
