Exposure Tab is missing

I'm new to Hugin, so this may be user error. I just installed Hugin 2019.2.0.b690aa0334b5 on Windows 10. I've been reading various tutorial and wiki pages indicating that there should be a tab called "Exposure", but after loading images, this tab does not show up. I'm in Expert mode, with Photometric parameters selected, and have also noticed that both "Exposure" and "Optimize" (under the View pulldown) are greyed out. Any help would be much appreciated.

The exposure tab is only shown when photometric optimizer is set to custom. Otherwise it is disabled because in these cases there is nothing on this tab the user can change.

Thank you very much. Not using custom was the cause of my issue.
