Hugin osx 13.3 High Sierra can't stitch

Asked by Tim Middleton

Hi,

So I used to be able to stitch all the time and easily with Hugin, but since upgrading to High Sierra 10.13.3, it seems Hugin (or some component) is unable to create the interim stitch files and so not the final pano

I have almost no debug, the verbous logs using PTBatchGUI said all was well, tiffs being created. But then they are not and fail at the next stage.

If I use HuginStitchProject I get these errors

Precondition violation!
Unable to open file ‘Untitled0001.tif’.
(/Users/niklas/development/cmake/hugin/mac/ExternalPrograms/repository/vigra-1.11.0/src/impex/tiff.cxx:839)
remapping DJI_0137.JPG
saving Untitled0002.tif
loading DJI_0138.JPG
TIFFOpen: Untitled0002.tif: Read-only file system.

It goes without saying the folder is not read only, as Hugin is happily doing the pto stuff there.

Any ideas ? Help !

Sorry for not seeing this. Have you moved Hugin (or the parent folder) onto your hard drive (from the dmg image).
