HDR Output images are mostly or totally blank

Asked by paul sorenson

I'm running hugin 2016.0 on Fedora 23 64 bit.

When I select HDR, the output file is almost always missing large parts of the panorama, eg I might see a single stack with the rest black (EXR) or transparent (TIF). It does work from time to time. A screen capture of partial output (vs all black) displayed in darktable is here: http://sosman.org/pics/hdr_exr_partial.jpg

The fused/blended and blended/fused images are fine.

With these information it is impossible to give more advice. It works here.
One point could be that the exposure information are mixed up. Can you provide the pto file?

I was running the enblend RPM which was 4.1.4. When I downloaded and built 4.2 my first attempt with the hugin gui produced a working EXR file - does that make sense? I will try a few more before I mark it as solved.

Sorry for being tardy - the problem is resolved when I use the enblend 4.2 compiled from source. The problem appears to have been with the fedora rep version (4.1.4).
