Hugin 2015 will not stitch on one of my PCs

I recently installed the 2015 version of Hugin on two of my PCs. I cannot get it to stitch properly on one of them (both Windows 7).

On the problem PC I have re-downloaded, reinstalled and tried previous versions. None of this helped. I have reset all options to default. I have been using this software for some years without problems and I am mystified as to why it has suddenly stopped working.

I have also been experimenting with MS ICE and I am wondering if there is perhaps some conflict between the two - perhaps they use some common components.

I would be grateful if anyone can suggest what to do to get Hugin working again.

My problem is probably solved.

I changed the search area for control points to 15% of the image area from 10%. I need to do further testing but for now I do not need any help.

This latest version of Hugin seems to be flaky compared to previous ones.
