Simple Interface not available

Asked by Peter Nastke

Hey guys,

I used Hugin for the last months very successfully for stitching my private photos to awesome panoramas. Now that time seems to have ended.

Problem: I am in an advanced mode of hugin and can't return to the simple assistance mode. When I click on "Interface" in the menu bar, the point "Simple" is greyed out. Just advanced and expert are available. When I try to stitch 3 photo together with that modes, I never get to a result that is even close to satisfying.

Please, help me getting my simple interface back. Even reinstalling Hugin didn't help! Thanks!

This means either
* you deactivated the fast preview window intentionally
* or the fast preview window is not available because your graphics system (graphic card+driver) does not support the necessaries OpenGL version.

You could try to start Hugin with pressed ctrl key and trying to activate the fast preview.

PS: The advanced mode can produce the same results as the simple mode. The difference is mainly what function are how presented in the GUI.

Ah, btw, I use a mac. So the Ctrl key + Start thing does not work.

There were some dialogues some days ago, as I opened Hugin. I clicked too quickly and since then I have those problems… My mistake, but I really have no idea how to undo them.

Yes, the advanced mode can produce the same results. But obviously I have no idea what adjustments I need to make to achieve that… every time I try the panorama looks really bad…

I don't see a reason, why my graphics card or driver shouldnt support the necessary OpenGL version. It obviously always did. Any other suggestions? :/ Thx for the help so far.

On the mac, use the command key instead the control key.
