OpenGL GL_ARB message

I use the assistent to stitch foto's. At step 2 I get an error message saying

"Sorry, the fast preview window requires a system which supports
OpenGL version 1.1 with the GL_ARB_multitexture extension.
The fast preview connot be opened"

I've tried to run the program opengl95.exe which I found in the Hugin program directory, but this doesn't seem to make any difference.

Is there anything else I can do?

At any rate, I'm suprised that this version (1.1) of software is being used which has been developed for Windows 95 when there's already a OpenGL 4.3 version.

Your graphic card must support these features and the driver must implement it.
You could try to update the driver for the graphic card. Maybe a new driver implement it.

AFAIK there is no opengl95.exe in the Hugin program directory. This is strange. Maybe there is something broken or mixed up with your installation.

Concerning OpenGL 1.1: This is only the minimum requirement. It works also with higher versions. But GL_ARB_multitexture (can) exists in 1.1 (and higher), the GL_ARB_multitexture extension is part of core 1.2.1 and higher.
