Is Hugin-Panorama Tool ready for Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5?

I've had problems setting up the Hugin 2011 release on my Mac. Can you tell me if the 2012 release will function on Mac's OS X Lion 10.7.5??

What do you mean with problems setting up the Hugin 2011 release? This is not a very exact description of what occurs on you mac.

did it work or not?
Did it work in the first stages but did it crash during the stitch?
If it's the second: did you read the "Readme first" file in the dmg as it explains what to do in case the stitching fails.

Please explain exactly what went wrong.
