2011.2.0-rc5 Hugin does not run on Windows 2000 SP4

I upgraded from 2011.0.0 because of the GL preview crash. So I downloaded the installer for this RC version.

It installs okay, but I run hugin.exe and it gives the old "E:\hugin\hugin.exe is not a valid Win32 application".

Is there something added that can't use Windows 2000? Or is it just the settings used on the compiler?

Sorry, Windows 2000 has been long deprecated by Microsoft and is no longer supported.
