What is the best way to get support for my HPLIP issue?

I have a question - 94374 that has been open since 17 December without reply which I would like some help to resolve.
I am having to boot Windows XP to print colour photos which is a bit tedious.
If anyone could let me know if this is the best forum to resolve the issue and if I just have to be more patient I would appreciate it.
