Can't make multiple copies on samba HP P2035

Asked by leonardevens

We have an HP laserjet P2035 attached to my wife's computer, which is running Windows XP. I have a dual boot machine which is running both Windows XP and Fedora 11 Linux. The P2035 is setup as a shared printer under Windows XP and as a samba printer under Fedora 11 on my machine. In both causes routine printing seems to work properly. However, under Fedora, I can't print multiple copies of a document. Whatever I specify, it just prints one copy. On the other hand, I have no trouble printing multiple copies (even collated) remotely when I boot my dual boot machine into Windows. I had been running hplip 3.9.8 under Fedora, and I upgraded to hplip 3.9.10 (with some difficulty), and at first I thought copying was working, but now it isn't again.

The last time I tried this was with Adobe Acrobat 9.

Could I be doing something wrong, or is this just a bug in the HP Linux cups driver for the printer? If so, I will report it.
