Missing packages

Asked by Zarine

I am attempting to install drivers for my hp 6310 all in one officejet, but get a bunch of errors regarding missing packages. This is when I attempt to do the install automatically. In trying to do it manually, I don't see instructions for OpenSuse 11.x. Help!

http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/models/officejet/officejet_6300_series.html
reads "Minimum HPLIP version 0.9.11"
and we provide HPLIP version 2.8.7 in the openSUSE 11.1 box
and HPLIP version 2.8.4 in the openSUSE 11.0 box
so that I do not understand why you need to install
whatever kind of other HPLIP version.

Can you help with this problem?
