HPLIP

deskjet f4580 support?

Hallo! I have just bought an F4580 Deskjet all-in-one printer/copier/scanner.
I use Kubuntu 9.04 on an Asus F50 Notebook.
I understand it's not supported yet. Will it be in the near future ? When ?
Is there another "similar" model name which I could use before the F4580 is issued ?

In theory the HP DeskJet F4500 series will be supported in the next release of HPLIP. Although I can't promise that it will be, our goal is to provide support within the next month or so.
