At this point it looks like HPLIP can't talk to the printer. Try disconnecting, power cycling and reconnecting the printer?

yes
of course i had to do this because the printer is freeezed.
but.... then if i try to print.... i get the same.... printer will freeze.

the scheme is this

turn on Pc and printer
|
|
try to print
|
|
printer freezed
|
|
turn off the printer and reconnect
|
|
retry to print
|
|
printer freeezed ....

Lets try this: http://hplipopensource.com/node/225

and see if CUPS will give us a better idea of what's going on

Also run:

sudo tail -f /var/log/syslog

and post that output as well. (run the command, disconnect, power cycle, reconnect, print, then post the log)

ok that stuff worked for a while then i get the same stuff now i am using the ordinary driver hpcups but i have modified the URI as you can read here
http://nowardev.wordpress.com/2009/09/09/hp-fucking-photosmart-7762/

and i have modify the URI in this way:
FROM
hp:/usb/photosmart_7700_series?serial=MY396220QQK6
TO
usb://hp/photosmart%207700%20series?serial=MY396220QQK6
**NOTE %20 means——>”_”
using the system settings…

and now it seems it's working as god want...
