HPLIP

Is HPLIP available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux Version 4.

Our sys admin says "this software is not compatible with our version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. It is for Version 5 – we are on Version 4." The OS is running on an HP BL460c

Frank,

We do not have a RHEL4 RPM. We do have a RHEL5 RPM--but it more than likely will not work.

You can try manually installing HPLIP by using these instructions as a guide:

We no longer test or provide technical assistance for RHEL4 other than the above links.
