I'm getting an "Error 344" when I attempt to send a fax. I also get a Note stating "Image on Fax Send Report is set to Off". How do I set it to On?

When I attempt to send a fax, I get an "Error 344". I also get a Note stating "Image on Fax Send Report is set to Off". How do I fix this?

This is the fax report that is printed after the failed fax attempt. I am
using the HP Officejet Pro 8500 Premier.

It appears the Error 344 is a hardware related issue. This support forum only provides help for the HP Linux Imaging and Printing driver. For any hardware related issues or questions please contact HP Total Care from http://www.hp.com

"The remote machine has failed to respond to a fax command from the product because the connection is interrupted.

The remote user has pressed the Stop button while the remote machine was receiving.

Under rare conditions, incompatibility between the two machines can cause the remote machine to simply abandon the call."
