ubuntu support for scanjet 4670

Your program does not install my scanner hp scanjet 4670. My printer hp photosmart d5360 installed without any problems with your HPLIP version 3.9.8, but my scanner is ignored. When can I expect a solution?

Alton,

The HP Linux Imaging and Printing project does not support any HP Scanjet devices. HP Scanjets are (in many cases) supported by the Sane project (which is not affiliated with HP).

As for HP ScanJet support for the Scanjet 4670 it appears this device is not yet supported by Sane.
