Hplip 3.9.6b doesn't recognise my HP7280 printer in wireless mode

I recently installed Fedora 11 and then installed HPlip 3.9.6b. Tried to setup my wireless HP7280 but it wasn't recognized by hp-setup. Can you help

Did you run "hp-wificonfig"? (might be called "hp-wifisetup" in 3.9.6b)

Yes I did run HP-wificonfig after connecting via usb as requested but it didn't find the wifi printer. Thanks for trying to help

For the HP Photosmart C7200 you can configure the wireless with the printer interface. For information on how to do this you can go here:

As long as the printer has a valid IP address from your network you should be able to configure the printer.

If the printer has a valid IP address try running:

ping ip.address.of.printer

If you get an okay response try running:

hp-makeuri ip.address.of.printer

If that works you should be good to run:

hp-setup
