Problem with HP 910

Asked by VonlisT

Hi to all.
I have installed HPLIP in my computer which did not present/display any problem.
I have installed Ubuntu 9,04 AMD64. The printer that treatment to form with HP-setup is HP 910.
The system detects the printer automatically, but the problem is that it prints half of express that did in Windows. But when trying to form it with HP-setup, says to me that it has not found nor a printer.
I would like that they could orient to solve the problem to me.
Greetings

PS: excuse me for my English. My native language is the Spanish.

Everything looks okay.

Run:

lsusb

and

/usr/lib/cups/backend/hp

and post the output from both.

Thanks.

This line:

Bus 004 Device 002: ID 03f0:2604 Hewlett-Packard

Means that the printer is, sorta, being detected. The 2604 is for the HP 910. The HP 910 is supported by HPLIP 3.9.4b.

Can you test the printer on a windows system to make sure it's working okay otherwise?

Thanks.

Aaron
