My HP 388 no longer copies documents

Asked by drig26

My HP 388 no longer copies documents. It has worked just fine for the past year. It still prints just fine and it scans, but it will not copy!

Please run hp-check -t and post the output.

Thanks.

Thanks for the prompt reply Aaron, but I don't have a clue what a "hp-check-t" is let alone do it. Please don't waste anymore of your own time on my behalf. I don't use the copy function that frequently anyway. Plus, I teach at a university and there's 3 copy centers just a few steps from my door.

Again, thanks for the help.

Thanks for the update, setting to answered for now.

Although this may be a hardware issue. The HP Linux Imaging and Printing project support forum only supports the driver, HPLIP, for any hardware issues you'll want to contact HP Total Care from http://www.hp.com.

Thanks for your support of HPLIP--we appreciate it.
