OJet 8500 installing and says the cartridge door is open when it is not

The printer won't print the first alignment page because it says the cartridge door is open. The door is NOT open.

Unplug the printer power cable at both ends, wait 1 minute, plug it in again if possible to a wall socket and not to a power strip/bar.
