HPLIP

HPLIP installation problem

Hello all,

I'm trying to connect from an Ubuntu Linux computer to a DeskJet 2700e. I am on the first step of installing the software. After running 'sh hplip-3.23.3.run' I get the error:

Running 'make'
Please wait, this may take several minutes...
error: 'make' command failed with status code 2

Any help would be very appreciated.

If you are running Ubuntu, then you better install the adapted package of HPLIP from the Ubuntu repositories.

sudo apt install hplip hplip-gui
