hello. the scanjet pro 3000 s2 is not supported yet

before asking you the permission to do a complicated work of reverse engeneering, with no guarantee to success aimed at writing a custom sane driver, may i ask you politely if a private driver for linux already exists at hp for this model?

may i ask you to broadcast it if it exists?

if not, is it possible to plan it some day?

If you plan never to release it, do you give me permission to try to listen to data between the scanner and windows ? maybe publish somewhere some not -too- secret data to help doing it?
