Missing data in support

It seems simple that the HP Device Manager (Ubuntu 20.04 Linux) throws an error code. BUT, the help does not have error codes. Duhhhh.
Error code is 5012
Device Communication Error, Code 5012, Please fix and try again.

How the hell can you fix it if ya don't know what it says it is ?????

This printer used to work well, not many problems. Now I can't get it to work.
I used to have problems many times, I changed to fix ip and it took care of it for a couple years. Now nothing work.
Recently it started to work again, then quit over night.

Printer is HP Envy 4520. I bought another processor board from ebay. I may change it out. Except, it started working after I bought it, then quit after it was delivered.
