HPLIP

Hplip supports m1217 nfw MFP but not plugin exists. where can I find it

Trying to install hplip 3.22.6. Docs say the Lasterjet m1217 nfw MFP is supported but there seems to be no plugin for it. Where can I find the plugin or do I use one of the other ones instead?
