Dear Brian, thank you for your reply.
The Ubuntuversion on the nstrument is 16.04 LTS.
The conection is via printer cable directly to the HP laserjet M110w

Ubuntu's support for its 16.04 release has already ended (except ESM for another year), see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

According to https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/supported_devices/index the HP Laserjet M110w is supported by HPLIP version 3.21.10 and later.

What you can do for getting the PPD file (If you are really sure that it is necessary):
Download the file https://sourceforge.net/projects/hplip/files/hplip/3.23.3/hplip-3.23.3.tar.gz/download
unzip and untar the file
browse to ppd/hpcups
I assume that the file hp-laserjet_m109-m112.ppd.gz is the PPD file for your device.

Hi Manfred,
I will do so. The developer said it is a Version 14 but in the display it says 16.04.
So I will contact them again.
Thank you for your fast reply.
