can't scan documents from printer to ubuntu machine

Your exact Ubuntu version?

22.04. I did some digging and found the scan.html document. I can scan using the scan.py function via CLI. But I have to do it file by file, it doesn't allow batch scanning yet. So have to open the tray, load the document, run :

hp-scan -o /some/place/file_name.format

then rinse repeat for every file and merge them all after I am done
