how to scan multiple pages Envy 4520

On the HP printer website I can only scan one page at the time. How can I scan multiple pages to one file?

I found a workaround with simple scan.

Still I am confused that the former Lubuntu versions (like 14.04) gave no problems with scanning directly from installed HPLIP.
