Support for HP Designjet T650

I am thinking of buying an HP Designjet T650 (large format printer). But I will not do so if it is not able to be supported on my linux machines.

On the HP support website page about supported printers for HPLIP ("HP Printers - Linux Support for HP Printers" https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bpu00658) the Designjet T650 is not listed.

Is the printer not supported for linux?

Correct, but HPLIP is not the only game in town!
