HPLIP 3.22.6 not getting plugin

HPLIP 3.22.6.run installed but plugin not installing showing error message

file does not match its checksum. File may have been corrupted or altered

and printer is not working becoz of the plugin i am not able to use HP laserjet printer 1020 plus
and i am using ubuntu 22.04 version on my desktop.

Kindly help me out.

Not an Ubuntu problem, but a problem of HPLIP.

Try the following:

Download the file https://developers.hp.com/sites/default/files/hplip-3.22.6-plugin.run by doing a right click on the link and selecting "save target as ..." and store it in the Downloads folder

Then open a terminal window and execute the commands

cd Downloads
sh ./hplip-3.22.6-plugin.run

What happens if you try this?

It installed completely but when it ask for plugin then there is some error occured mentioned below

Delete your local copy/copies of the plugin installer and start with a new download (see comment #1).
