Which kind of update do you expect?

You can install HPLIP from the Ubuntu repositories with the command

sudo apt install hplip hplip-gui

I was checking on the full fledged automated support as available now on the previous versions of Ubuntu. When running the .sh it mentions that Ubuntu 22.04 is not supported, and it stops on the portion where it asks for the additional requirement files.

You can expect an updated version on the HPLIP pages, but I do not have any knowledge about the planned time frame.

For the time being just install the Ubuntu-provided version!

Can you help with this problem?
