I am not able to install hplip3.21.8 plugin is not getting installed on Ubuntu 20.4

I am using ubuntu 20.4 as my operating system. hplip3.21.8 has been installed and printer is working fine. But when I am trying to use scanner plugin is required which is not getting installed and scanner is not working.

For a manual plugin installation:

Download the plugin package (the *.run file) in the same version as the HPLIP installation on your system (ver. 3.21.8) from https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/plugins and install it with

sh ./hplip-3.21.8-plugin.run
