Cannot detect printer error message has invalid URL

Asked by borgrel

I am trying to install an HP Printer in Linux, when I try to scan for a network printer it gives the following message:

"HPLIP cannot detect printers in your network. This may be due to existing firewall settings blocking the
required ports. When you are in a trusted network environment, you may open the ports for network services
like mdns and slp in the firewall. For detailed steps follow the link. http://hplipopensource.com/node/374"

When i DO follow the link it leads to: "https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/node/374"
and tells me:

"Page not found
The requested page "/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/node/374" could not be found."

Please update this message, correct the link and give me the correct URL to use.
